Dani and Warren’s Wedding Food

Last year, on the 3rd of April, something magical happened… I got to marry my best friend. I was lucky enough to share a beautiful day dancing, laughing, drinking, and (most importantly) eating, with all my closest family and friends.

The Fourways Farmers Market was the perfect venue for us because it allowed us the freedom to arrange the day exactly how we wanted it. And what we wanted was good music (thanks to The Motherland) and good food (thanks to Aroma Cafe). Here’s what was on the menu:

Snacks: Popcorn! Which was also used as confetti.

Starters: Tempura veggies with a sweet-chilli sauce (some smaller humans were not impressed with the greens).

Mains: Burgers! Who doesn’t love a good burger? Ours were made from chickpeas and other beans and were flipping delicious.

Dessert: Vegan waffles with dark chocolate, caramel, and my favourite rose syrup sauce.
