Avo toast is the Holy Grail

We are literally dreaming of avocados since the “off-season” prices hit. The only good thing about winter is that avo’s are cheaper again! It’s an absolute favourite of The Kitchen Thief and we will pretty much add it to most dishes.

Here are two variations of avo toast, a dish we truly love with all of our heart:

Ingredients:

  • Rye bread or bread of your choice
  • Spring onions
  • Rocket
  • Ripe avocado
  • Baby tomatoes
  • Sprouts

Slap it all on your bread, season with salt and pepper and drizzle with lemon.

Ingredients:

  • Rye bread or bread of your choice
  • Baby spinach
  • Strawberries
  • Chili flakes

Mash the avo and top with the rest of the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
